New beginner classes start October 14

Garrett Center, Bradley University, 824 N. Duryea Place.
Hello everyone,
We had a fantastic Dual Cultivation Workshop (taijiquan) and Northeast Regional Meeting during the last weekend in September, with 65 members attending from New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas and Illinois.
As we enter Autumn, we have several more activities to look forward to.
We also will be working again this year with a nearby church in Arlington Heights to provide dinner for homeless men, women and families in the Northwest Suburbs through PADS (Public Action to Deliver Shelter). This is primarily an Arlington Heights location activity due to the geography, but all are invited to participate.
This is one way we fulfill the 4th Aim and Objective of the Society: To help others.
Our dates this year are:
Yes, we will be providing the Christmas Dinner this year! We did Thanksgiving last year and it worked very well. We don’t have a November date this year.
There will be menus and sign up sheets at your classes. For those of you who don’t want to cook, there are opportunities to provide bread, rolls, salad dressing and other food items. You can also donate money for others to use to buy and/or prepare food.
Talk to your instructors for more details about delivering the food.
Enjoy the change of the Seasons! It is one of the great joys of living in the Midwest.
